Little too much "in-patty" seasoning which covers the true meaty flavor. The burger is also closer to a cake than anything that could fit in one hand. At the end, no major failure, but nothing outstanding either. This is a B+ burger.

A pricey, solid burger cooked to juicy perfection. I liked the "in patty" seasoning so much that next time I won't get cheese at all. The Blue cheese I had with my medium rare burger overpowered it. For the first time I actually I wanted a "plain" burger with no condiments. It was juicy and was a spot on medium rare. The bun held up and the pickles were excellent. It wasn't a down and dirty straight up burger but it more than hit the spot. B+.

Juicy is usually a possitive way to describe a burger, Blue Smoke proved that too much juice is simly too much. The burger created a sloppy mess that was overburdening for this burger fan. My bun did not hold up to the large patty that tasted too rich to deserve anything over a B. I admit that adding the smokey bacon to my burger was a bad idea, and as ham ham stated above the cheese was totally unnecesary. The lettuce and tomato didn't even need to be there since I couldn't taste them. This burger would be best eaten strait up, with pickles and onions. No condiments whatsoever. If you like mustard on your burger, don't even think about it here for it is way too spicy. For the last quarter of my burger I managed to strip the thing of almost everthing and it tasted quite good. The products involved were certaintly of quality, but having them all together was simply too much. Next time I think Ill get the ribs and save my Danny Meyer burgers for Shake Shack.
