The Shake Shack closed for the season today and I was there. It was around 25 degrees when I got to the Shack and the burger was consistently fantasic. I had to devour it in seconds so that it didn't freeze in my hand. The manager told me that even though it was frigid out they had already sold over 300 burgers by 2:00. He also told me they are reopening on March 20th. Start the countdown...

Very nice burger with a complex peppery taste, cooked with just the right amount of char. If I must level criticism it would be against the bun which is fairly boring and tends to get wet easily. I've always been curious about the shakes here and asked about them, the secret: a slab of butter churned in with each one.
