Prime Burger, despite its namesake, is jsut an old school diner on 51st street b/t madison and 5th. It is unimpressive and its food is the same. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries as always, the true test of a good burger. I ordered the burger medium rare as always.
Here's what happened. The bacon was a little tough but it was loaded on, easily 6 strips, which is great but it was a bit of overkill conisdering the burger was not cooked to order, I got it well done, terrible....and it was about as big as a mcdonald's patty. Very disappointing for a place that claims to be a can't miss classic. I would give it another chance and will follow up if I do.
Not worth a stop in unless youre in the neighborhood.
